La Placita Culinary Fest
Can you really experience more than 15 different restaurants in one day? If you go to La Placita Culinary Fest, Sunday, September 17th in Santurce you can certainly try.
At this one day culinary extravaganza 15 of the best restaurants in the Placita area will throw open their doors to allow people to sample the best of their menus. This is a great chance to take a quick tour of the puerto rican, italian, mexican, cuban, colombian, asian and fusion flavors that make La Placita one of the culinary centers of the Island.
In between culinary delights you can enjoy live music, a cocktail demonstration and even an artisan fair for free. The event starts at 12m and goes on to 10 pm so plan your Sunday tomake the most of the hungry hours. Parking is available at the multi-level parking garage adjacent to the PLacita and at the Minillas Municipal lot.
La Placita has long been a gathering place since it was first built in 1910. During the day it’s a farmer’s market with fresh local vegetables, butchers and more. 
At night the area transforms into a vibrant gathering place for locals and tourists alike. There are more than 60 restaurants, bars, and clubs that surround the Placita.
