It’s time to let the kids have fun or even to let your inner child go wild! Viking Arena indoor playground is a brand new, state of the art facility in Carolina that features 28 attractions in a 50,000 sq. ft. building for kids from 6 months old all the way to adventuresome adults. The area is divided into different themes with attractions sure to fascinate kids and teens of all ages (and even the adults!) A cafeteria and bar are also on premise to feed the hungry and make your birthday party even better.
Baby Viking
This area is specially designed for children from 6 months to 3 years old. The interactive play area features games to help develop memory and motor skills in a very safe and protected environment. Kids will love their unique, protected, colorful area where everything is scaled to their size.
Soft Play
This unique part of Viking Arena indoor playground will challenge kids with multiple inflatable labyrinths, scaling walls, slides, a mirror maze and a whole host of attractions that guarantee fun for all. Jump on a inner tube and slide down the ramp into a fun jump or take a turn in the spiral slide or even the wave slide for a shot of adrenaline. The attractions are designed for maximum fun and with many safety features and soft landings so even the most daring are able to push the limits.
Rope Course
One of the most exciting and challenging offerings of the Viking Arena indoor playground is the Rope Course. For this series of challenges participants are fitted with a helmet and a safety harness. This elevated course is full of moving bridges that develop balance and is a great way to develop self confidence and problem solving skills as you navigate the different obstacles. It even includes a fun zipline and an aerial skateboard.
In this area parents and friends can watch, cheer and photograph participants from below as they traverse the course. Another fun attraction that provides for some great entertainment is the climbing walls. These two vertical walls offer the greatest challenge in the Viking Arena and getting to the top is a real feat.
Two Viking Arenas
The first Viking Arena opened in Puerto Nuevo in San Juan. Based on the success of this venue, the second Viking Arena opened in Carolina in April 2024. This new indoor playground offers even more unique attractions that elevate the experience for both kids and adults.
What’s new at Carolina
One of the most popular attractions is the Sky Rider. Here you can n fly over the arena on a twisting and turning track suspended from the roof. The Viking Flying Chair allows two people to enjoy a thrilling swing ride. You’ll be lifted almost two stories up and then released to an adrenaline rush as you go back and forth. For additional challenges a couple of the unique attractions feature a competite edge. The Warrior Course is a series of interactive challenges that combine technology and competition. As you progress through the course you accumulate points.
Something for the gaming crowd
The interactive trampolines are also a first in Puerto Rico. As you jump on a trampoline you control the movements of a character in a video game in front of you. The higher you jump, the higher your character goes! Arcade games will also provide an adrenaline rush for the video game crowd. The exciting AirTrak basketball court lends a new twist to the game. The high tech court allows you to bounce the ball and jump to new heights and even dunk while cushioning any fall. A great way to create Lebron James moments.
Axe throwing and pickleball courts
For adults and older kids Carolina Viking Arena has opened the Ox Lounge, the first interactive ax throwing arena. Here you can throw real axes at a bullseye while the game automatically keeps score. There are also four brand new PickleBall courts available for individual play and even tournaments. So get your crew together, make a date to see who’s the pickleball or axe throwing champion!
Great food and drink
All this activity is bound to open up your appetite and build a thirst. The bar/restaurant on premise offers crowd favorites. Personal pizzas, sliders, sandwiches and salads are available along with a kid’s menu. For the adults there’s a bar and even draft beer available.
